Role Summary At Vantor, you’ll work with the U.S. Space Force to develop and rapidly deploy the next generation of resilient Missile Warning (MW), Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (TISR), and Environmental Monitoring (EM) capabilities to deter attacks and provide critical information to our warfighters.

Within this role, you will schedule planning and development efforts on Major Defense Acquisition Programs, including space, ground, software, or hardware systems.

Your functional expertise, communication and collaboration skills, and attention to detail will be vital as you contribute to the acquisition and development of space sensing capabilities.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience with systems engineering or project management, schedule planning, and development efforts on Major Defense Acquisition Programs, including space, ground, software, or hardware systems

2+ years of experience developing and managing the schedules of Major Defense Acquisition Programs to include integration, testing, transition to operation activities, critical paths, and analysis of schedule impacts and recommendation of corrective actions

Experience with scheduling tools, such as One Pager Pro, Milestones Professional, and Microsoft Office tools, including SharePoint, Project, and Excel

Experience working on DoW sustainment programs either in scheduling or project management

Ability to identify, document, and integrate technical and programmatic data describing systems, segments, and external drivers to review and provide input to the schedule

Secret clearance

Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications

Experience performing systems engineering, program management, and schedule development activities on space-based remote sensing systems

Experience using a Model-Based Systems Engineering approach to manage system definitions and technical baseline

Experience managing annual schedule activities for remote sensing sustainment programs, working with large amounts of data, and utilizing metrics to improve processes and ensure consistency and standardization across the organization

Knowledge of DoD 5000.01 and 5000.02

Knowledge of space systems and their corresponding design, development, manufacturing, integration and testing, deployment, operations, and decommissioning activities

TS/SCI clearance

Master’s degree in an Engineering, Business (or related), Finance, Economics, Mathematics, CS, Physics, or relevant field

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.

Base pay for this position within Colorado is: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually.

For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
