Service Technician Apprentice

LIVunLtd Base Pay Range $23.00/hr - $26.00/hr
LIVunLtd Service Apprentices are leaders in the fitness industry and part of a skilled team who advance through our technician career path and other career opportunities throughout the company. Our Service Apprentice program is crafted to develop individuals into Service Technicians. As a Service Technician, you will diagnose, service, repair, and maintain fitness equipment while delivering world‑class customer service and representing LIVunLtd professionally. Successful candidates must manage a schedule full of jobs for a variety of demanding customers and be the face of LIVunLtd.
Primary Responsibilities
Travel to client locations
Inspect, calibrate, clean, and test fitness equipment during service contract visits
Evaluate equipment for repair; prepare parts lists and labor estimates for a repair quote to be provided to the customer
Complete repairs with ordered parts; test that the machine is back in full working order
Provide communication to customers regarding scheduling and equipment status
Identify additional opportunities for revenue from service, warranty work and preventive‑maintenance contracts on additional machines
Identify additional opportunities for incremental revenue from new equipment and/or fitness accessories
Additional Responsibilities
Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle at all times
Maintain proper inventory levels and count accuracy at all times
Complete vehicle maintenance needs as directed by the fleet operations manager
Follow the Company Uniform Policy
Skills and Qualifications
Be able to lift/move fitness equipment and parts up to 125 lbs.
Ability to operate hand and power tools
Maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance and clear an MVR check
Must have excellent work habits, be punctual and presentable at all times
Proficiency and working knowledge of computers, Microsoft OS, iPad, Wi‑Fi, email and cell‑phone technology
