Upstate Caring Partners invites undergraduate students to participate in a 13‑week externship exploring applied behavior analysis, psychology, education, or therapy. The program is located throughout Central New York and offers hands‑on experience with individuals across preschool, school‑age, and adult services.
Program Highlights
Direct experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across multiple programs.
Weekly mentorship and career exploration seminars with UCP leaders.
Mentored research project culminating in a Data & Donuts Poster Session.
Collaboration across disciplines within a leading human services organization.
Requirements
Undergraduate student actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
Externship is 35 hours per week, from 05/18/26 to 08/14/26.
Submit application, transcript, references, and cover letter by 02/23/26.
Selection of externs occurs by 03/27/26.
Agency background clearance required.
