Information Governance - Matter Mobility Analyst

Taft is seeking an Information Governance-Matter Mobility Analyst to support our Information Governance team in our Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, Detroit, Indianapolis or Minneapolis office. Responsibilities
Execute and monitor Taft's policies and procedures regarding the transfer of digital client matter records into and out of the firm.
Transfer digital records to and from Taft's document management system and other designated repositories of record.
Ensure inbound digital records are correctly classified and assigned to the correct client matter workspaces.
Ensure outbound digital records are accurately documented and memorialized into Taft's records tracking application.
Utilize Secure Send or other FTP server technology, security and encryption controls, metadata structure, and database reporting.
Assist in coordinating the Matter Mobility processes, including confirmation of vital documentation and updating Taft's tracking system while ensuring data integrity is maintained.
Process client requests for transfers in a timely and complete manner.
Export and coordinate the export of requested data from Taft's Document Management System, docketing systems, e-discovery systems, and other identified repositories of record.
Work with various data formats to troubleshoot data transfer issues and resolve problems.
Serve as a resource to answer any questions regarding the transfer process.
Participate in special projects and additional duties as assigned and directed by management.
Requirements
Associate's degree and minimum of 2+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience lir.
Experience managing physical and electronic documents, files and containers.
Experience providing exemplary customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Law firm experience preferred but not required.
Strong knowledge of PC configuration and technical troubleshooting गलत including familiarity with file systems & formats.
Knowledge of legal software and other IT applications/software (e.g. iManage, Secure Send, Windows Office Suite, Windows Server).
Knowledge of best practices for managing and transferring large datasets.
Knowledge of data privacy and methods to keep data secure, such as encryption, MFA, etc.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Experience providing client technical support.
Exceptional written and communication skills, enabling effective communication with a variety of audiences in the legal environment.
Knowledge of Information Governance principles and practices.
Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
Attention to detail and a quality‑focused approach, coupled with teamwork, patience, and a desire to help clients and staff.
Ability to multi‑task and meet tight deadlines.
