Minimum Qualifications
Willing to work weekends and holidays.
Effective written and verbal communication skills that engage customers and associates.
Able to read shelf tags, signs, product labels, training materials, and bulletins.
Ability to multi‑task, set priorities, present information in a professional manner and work with all levels of the organization.
Personal initiative and follow‑through to completion.
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
Proficient in using cleaning solutions, safely using sharp tools, and carefully operating all production equipment.
Desired Experience & Skills
Past work record reflects dependability and integrity.
Previous experience in food preparation.
Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to employment practices, safety, and food handling.
Experience in grocery retail and customer service.
Ability to greet customers and provide them with good quality food promptly and cheerfully.
Be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous and professional in all interactions.
Communicate effectively with customers and associates.
Make a clean, neat, and friendly impression on customers.
Unload and store merchandise, prepare and display foods per company standards, recipes and policies.
Perform required temperature monitoring and monitor product quality, ensuring it remains fresh and safe.
Maintain clean, organized sales areas, backrooms, and coolers; keep floors safe and free from clutter.
Wash and sanitize cookware and utensils per company and Health Department policies.
Maintain proper signage, product rotation, freshness, quantity, quality and proper space allocation for merchandise.
Maintain equipment and facilities safely per company policies and procedures.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as State and Federal laws.
Operate cash register per company procedures where applicable.
Manage conflict cooperatively and nonconfrontationally.
Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.
Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults.
