Workers' Compensation Paralegal

Job Description ProspectBlue has partnered with a law firm in Richmond, VA that is looking for a Workers' Compensation Paralegal to join it's team! The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience. This is an in-office position M-F. Competitive salary and benefits!

Responsibilities

Draft and prepare pleadings for filing

Attend telephone conferences and prepare synopsis memoranda

Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes

Draft broker transition documents

Organize exhibits, documents, briefs and appendices

Aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests

Gather relevant information from a variety of sources

Redact information from documents

Assist in trial preparation by preparing binders, indexing discovery bruily, and preparing trial exhibits

Prepare witness preparation binders

Skills

Proven working experience as a workers compensation paralegal

Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, etc.

Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines Hitler in a fast‑paced environment

Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail

Extensive computer and database expertise (MS Excel and Word skills necessary)
