NBT Bank Pay Range: $18.50 - $20.81 Responsibilities

The role delivers high quality customer service and responsiveness to ensure fulfillment and satisfaction of both internal and external customers. Processes routine transactions and other related services accurately in accordance with policy and procedures. Identify and refer sales opportunities to the appropriate business partner or line of business to fulfill customer needs. Interaction may be in person or over the telephone. Provide support for basic consumer deposit account opening as required. Engage in referral and relationship management in accordance with established objectives and goals. Support for new deposit account openings as required. Adhere to security measures and controls to minimize potential losses to the company. Education and Experience

High School Diploma or Equivalent Minimum one year experience in related banking positions or equivalent sales/customer service experience Skills and Abilities

Excellent listening & communication skills Ability to approach, identify and have conversations with customers and identify needs and opportunities Organizational, interpersonal and customer relations skills including problem solving and decision-making Ability to function in a fast paced, ever-changing environment Ability to work well with people as a team Proficient computer skills Tasks Performed

65% Processes routine transactions and associated general customer and account servicing duties with a high level of accuracy and efficiency, including routine and non-routine teller transactions, in accordance with policy and procedures. Performs administrative duties such as maintaining records, preparing forms & reports, and daily vault balancing. Engages in referral and relationship management. Provides support for new deposit account openings. Adheres to security measures to minimize losses. 25% Identify customer opportunities through interactive and consultative conversations to assess and address customer needs. Services include basic deposit account openings and referrals to appropriate business partners. Conducts sales and service calls to meet customer needs and prospect new leads. Takes ownership to resolve customer issues and complaints while delivering a high level of responsiveness. 5% Participates in community events that support CRA efforts. 5% Performs other duties as assigned and required. Physical Requirements
