Location: Blizzard Entertainment, 1 BLIZZARD WAY, Irvine, CA 92618. Online applications accepted only.
Schedule: Full Time; Monday thru Friday.
Pay Range: $19.00‑$20.00 per hour.
Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available.
Job Summary Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the front of the house, including tables, counters, floors, windows and beverage station.
Responsibilities
Ensures tables are bussed, cleared and cleaned and floors are cleared and swept during peak service times and are prepped prior to service.
Follows safety procedures when transporting dishes and utensils from the front of the house to the kitchen area using trays, bus tubs or carts.
Washes dishes, glasses and pots; cleans cooking stations and equipment to expedite service while maintaining sanitation standards.
Scrapes and rinses food from dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine; ensures cleanliness and sanitation.
Keeps display equipment clean, free of debris and in compliance with all safety and sanitation standards during meal service.
Helps receive heavy deliveries from dock and transports them to assigned storage areas while observing safe lifting standards.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
Personal commitment to safety and that of others.
Abides by all Company policies and procedures including the use of:
Medium‑weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins or cleaning a slicer.
Oven mitts, fryer gloves or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers or steamtables.
Slip‑resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.
Qualifications
Valid ID required.
Some experience preferred but not required; the company will provide training for the position.
Ability to perform essential functions of the position satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
