Overview
Nouria Energy Corporation is a family‑owned wholesale fuel distributor, convenience store operator, and car wash operator in New England. The company supplies branded and unbranded fuel to more than 300 locations across New England and New York and operates 150+ company‑operated convenience store locations and is ranked within the top 10 largest car wash chains in the country.
Shift Details 2nd shift – open availability preferred. Must be able to work weekends and flexible schedule as needed.
Responsibilities
Operate the station efficiently during the shift, ensuring store profitability and customer needs are met.
Communicate verbally and in writing with management on store operations, especially any changes that may affect operations.
Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner.
Prepare a shift report at the end of the shift following company guidelines.
Promote specials and suggest possible purchases to customers.
Maintain safety, security, and cleanliness of the store and document any accidents or incidents.
Support implementation of the Safety and Health program and report workplace accidents, injuries, or incidents.
Customer Service
Provide the best customer experience to every customer.
Greet every customer with a smile and sincere greeting.
Assume full responsibility for the execution of the customer service program at the site level.
Qualifications
Read, understand, and write English at the eighth‑grade level.
Perform arithmetic calculations at the eighth‑grade level to make change, complete shift reports, and account for products during vendor check‑in.
Validate identification prior to selling tobacco and/or alcohol (as required by regulations).
Lift up to 30 pounds and carry cases of milk cartons, soft drinks, beer, and juice containers using proper lifting techniques.
Remain calm and respond according to policies and procedures during emergencies.
Tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
Work in various temperature environments (cooler, outdoor weather, and indoor store).
Perform general housekeeping duties as needed.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Physical Requirements
Lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Traverse and access all areas of the store.
Prolonged periods standing or sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
