Compassionate Caregiver/CNA needed in Timonium, Baltimore County
Americare Jobs is looking for a compassionate caregiver who is dedicated to assisting adults with personal care, maintaining their independence with dignity, and enhancing their quality of life. The ideal candidate will enjoy engaging clients in fun activities and possess strong problem‑solving skills to address various needs.
Base Pay Range $18.00/hr - $18.00/hr
Responsibilities
Assisting clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and ambulation
Plan and engage in enjoyable activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation; provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Help with meal preparation and nutrition, light housekeeping, medication reminders, driving clients to activities and appointments
Monitor and report changes in clients health and well‑being and collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care
Qualifications
Must be compassionate, patient, and attentive to detail; strong interpersonal and communication skills
Current CPR/First Aid Certification
Current driver's license and proof of auto insurance
Negative TB or X-ray screening
Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is required
Fluent in Spanish preferred
