Job Summary This position delivers ice to customers in articulated vehicles (tractor‑trailers) that require a CDL class A license. Drivers are either assigned a delivery route or transport truckloads of ice to specific customer locations. The delivery region, route, and type of equipment operated is subject to change depending on business needs.
This is a full‑time, permanent position with Reddy Ice that includes a competitive hourly wage, a full benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a company‑matching 401(k) plan.

Responsibilities
Deliver ice to customers in articulated vehicles (tractor‑trailers) requiring a CDL class A license.
Transport truckloads of ice to specific customer locations or follow assigned delivery routes.
Operate equipment and manage routes based on business needs.
Unload, load, and rotate product in merchandisers / iceboxes.
Maintain safe driving practices in stressful environments and all weather conditions.
Work weekend, night, and holiday shifts; overtime may be required.
Education & Experience Required
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Current valid class A CDL license
Driving record that meets or exceeds company‑qualifying standards
At least one year of experience as a driver in a vehicle similar to the one assigned during employment
Education & Experience Preferred
Three years of previous route delivery driver or DSD experience
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Must be able to drive in stressful environments. Unloads, loads, and rotates product in merchandisers / iceboxes. Required to lift 40 lbs. throughout the day. Required to work in all weather conditions. Weekend, night, and holiday work is a requirement of the position. Will perform work in retail stores; frequently driving between retail stores and plant location. Overtime may be required. Work is conducted in a fast‑paced, rapidly changing environment.
