Job responsibilities This role plays a vital part in supporting BrisDocs governance structures, ensuring compliance with BrisDocs regulatory, contractual requirements, and contributing to the development and maintenance of systems that drive quality and assurance.
This is a fixed-term position for one year, providing an excellent opportunity to contribute to key quality and governance work, while developing insight into regulatory compliance.
You will support compliance monitoring, audit processes, meeting administration and the management of patient experience data. Your work will directly contribute to the continuous improvement of patient care and organisational effectiveness.
Governance Administration and Compliance
Support the administration of the learning event and complaints processes, including accurate logging, investigation tracking, and reporting. Monitor shared Governance email accounts, ensuring timely and professional responses to internal and external queries. Maintain and update evidence and documentation systems for regulatory compliance, internal audits, and CQC readiness. Assist in compiling compliance audits and retrieving relevant documentation or records (e.g. call recordings) to support investigations and quality checks. Produce and distribute reports on patient feedback and governance themes, identifying trends to inform service learning. Provide administrative support to audits, Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives and the monitoring of action plans arising from incidents, complaints or inspections. Maintain a register of local policies and procedures, monitoring review dates and supporting version control.
Meeting and Project Support
Prepare agendas, take and circulate accurate minutes for meetings, track actions, and maintain attendance records. Coordinate diaries, schedule meetings, and ensure appropriate documentation is prepared in advance. Support the Governance Manager in coordinating internal and external meetings, including regulatory visits or peer reviews.
Patient experience and Feedback
Administer the Patient Satisfaction Survey programme, coordinating data collection, analysis, and dissemination of insights to service teams. Collaborate with managers to ensure that feedback is acknowledged, acted upon, and forms part of continuous service improvement. Enter quality and performance data into corporate dashboards and records, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
General Administrative Duties
Work collaboratively across operational and clinical teams to promote good governance and compliance. Uphold BrisDocs policies on safeguarding, confidentiality, data protection and information governance. Contribute to maintaining team resources, such as filing systems, contact directories, and document repositories. Act as a positive team player, supporting a culture of continuous improvement and cross cover when required.

Person Specification Skills and experience Educated to Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, Outlook) NVQ Level 3/4, ECDL, or relevant qualifications in Business Administration Previous administrative experience, ideally in healthcare/NHS Previous experience in governance or audit support
