Job Description The Aseptic Site Trainer is responsible for assisting in the coordination of delivery of high‑quality educational services and solutions. The role provides administrative support for implementing training programs and tracking training initiatives and requirements, working closely with leaders and associates throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

Ensure AbbVie Training Policy, processes, and procedures and regulatory training requirements are implemented at the site.

Train new and existing employees on appropriate cleanroom behavior and best practices including equipment intervention and sampling.

Support implementation of global Aseptic Best Practices related to aseptic processes and training.

Create content and administer periodic refresher training for employees working in cleanroom areas.

Create and revise procedures related to job function as needed.

Identify areas of improvement with current aseptic processes at the site and manage continued improvement projects as needed.

Observe employees’ aseptic gowning technique and provide coaching.

Handle additional aseptic‑related projects as assigned by department management.

Maintain a working knowledge of operations processes and recommend, support, and facilitate continuous improvement projects to improve training effectiveness.

Generate training status tracking reports and present to site management.

Provide gowning training (initial and recertification).

Partner with Microbiology and Operations for Environmental Monitoring and Sanitization training.

Conduct monthly shift touchpoints focused on a pre‑established rolling Aseptic refresher.

Perform monthly Gemba walks with Aseptic MQA/site leadership.

Dedicate 20% of time to Aseptic Auditing.

Work with global Aseptic Trainers to develop and deliver targeted training.

Support the entire site for aseptic training and coordinate with global staff to roll out additional training.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Education, Communication, Training, or related field is beneficial.

Knowledge of regulations and standards for aseptic manufacturing and training.

At least 3 years of combined experience in aseptic operations, quality, or training.

Experience with GMPs, aseptic manufacturing, and training processes.

Strong oral and written communication skills and excellent organizational skills.

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Windows and Office applications.

Ability to independently manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and act with flexibility and initiative.

Ability to interact and build constructive relationships with subject matter experts and business partners.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $64,000 – $122,000.

Comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) for eligible employees.

Eligibility to participate in short‑term incentive programs.
