Skip Tracer - On‑Site - Dallas
Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced Skip Tracer to manage a full queue of assignments. This position is responsible for locating bank & finance customers and vehicles subject to repossession nationwide. While this is not a collections or sales job, it involves outbound phone contact with customers, field contractors, and client bank employees.

Department Overview SCM is a Skip Tracing, Forwarding, Data Skip and Impound division of Motorola Solutions. We are a full‑service recovery operation connecting lenders and repossession agents to facilitate quicker and more compliant recoveries.
Job Description
Gather, analyze, or evaluate information from a variety of sources, including court records, credit header data, and people‑location software.
Use various location databases and software packages to locate vehicles subject to repossession (e.g., automatic license plate recognition software).
Work closely with repossession agents to coordinate activities.
Manage the repossession process for bank clients.
Collaborate with bank employees.
Perform in‑depth people/vehicle location searches.
Proactively monitor accounts and address a variety of issues.
Make phone contact with customers, field agents, and other stakeholders.
Desired Skills
1 to 2 years of automotive industry or collection/repossession experience preferred.
Strong communication skills and phone skills to give clear and concise direction.
Experience interacting with business clients via phone/email.
Strong multi‑tasking and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
High level of experience using G‑Suite, MS Office, and related applications.
Basic Requirements
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely. Employer work permit sponsorship is NOT available for this position.

Pay Information Target Base Salary Range: $45,760 + Bonus USD. Pay within this range varies and depends on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
