Location: Belmont, Charlotte Metro Region, North Carolina. Position is at CaroMont Regional Medical Center‑Belmont, scheduled to open the 10‑bed Level‑I LDRP Nursery in 2025.

Responsibilities

Lead daily rounds on newborns and attend deliveries as requested.

Take call from home and manage patient care for anticipated 600 deliveries per year with an average daily census of ~5 newborns.

Stabilize, manage, and facilitate transport of newborns needing higher‑level care to adjacent NICUs in Charlotte or Gastonia.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of 4 NNPs/Pediatric Hospitalists and a sister Level‑III NICU staffed by 2 neonatologists and 5‑6 NNPs.

About the Practice The new Level‑I unit will serve as a primary nursery and referral point for higher‑level neonatal care. The team will provide comprehensive care within the CaroMont Regional Medical Center network.
