Overview
Altus Hospice is seeking a self‑motivated, passionate RN Clinical Liaison to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to take on new challenges within a culture of teamwork that sets us apart. As a Clinical Liaison, you will conduct hospital and medical facility outreach to identify new referral sources and maintain ongoing relationships that increase census and preference for hospice services. Leveraging your clinical knowledge, empathetic communication, and marketing skills, you will initiate one‑to‑one dialogues with referral sources, families, and prospective patients to explain and educate on hospice services, ensuring extraordinary patient and customer service.
Schedule Tuesday – Saturday, 10 am – 6 pm

Responsibilities
Determine primary decision makers and proactively build positive, solid working relationships with members of the medical community and partners.
Promote and position hospice patient care services through regular visits that illustrate and reflect quality of care and unique capabilities.
Build the hospice brand as the preferred provider in the service area to achieve and exceed agency goals for growth and census management.
Make regular, planned calls to secure new referrals, build census, and meet established goals with referring physicians, facilities, case managers, discharge planners, and social workers in hospitals and skilled nursing facilities.
Assist hospice in determining patient eligibility based on hospice knowledge and training.
Conduct initial meetings with patients and families, providing an overview of hospice service and philosophy, and obtain consents for care.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in nursing or health care preferred.
Current, unencumbered RN license.
Minimum one (1) year of sales/marketing experience in healthcare.
One (1) to two (2) years’ experience in hospice/palliative marketing strongly preferred.
Skilled at establishing and maintaining relationships with key staff, marketing contracts, and clinical staff to ensure thorough understanding of hospice services.
Proven ability to generate and maintain relationships with new and existing accounts, including physicians, health professionals, and community agencies.
Willingness to drive with reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
Compensation $90,000 – $105,000 per year (average pay range). Compensation is based on experience and responsibilities; final rate will be confirmed at interview conclusion.
