Senior Institutional Mental Health Account Specialist, Neuroscience - COBENFY Columbia, SC

Position Overview The Mental Health Account Specialist (MHAS) is a critical role in our customer engagement model, driving demand for BMS medicines within the Neuroscience therapeutic area. The MHAS supports the potential U.S. commercialization of our lead investigational product for schizophrenia, engaging providers and care teams at Community Mental Health Centers and Certified Community Behavioral Health Centers across multiple states.

Key Responsibilities

Promote approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory, meeting or exceeding assigned sales targets in a compliant manner.

Create demand for BMS medicines by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for use in appropriate patients.

Engage with and continuously maintain a high level of scientific expertise in all assigned products and therapeutic areas.

Prepare and implement comprehensive territory and account plans.

Use available tools (e.g., CE^3) to derive insights and dynamically inform call plans, providing feedback to leadership.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Advanced scientific degree and/or preferred 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience in healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing.

Ability to communicate scientific or clinical data accurately and convincingly to physicians.

Demonstrated experience building and maintaining strong credibility with key customers and office staff through a customer‑centric mindset.

Experience in psychiatry and in Community Mental Health Centers and Certified Community Behavioral Health Centers preferred.

Demonstrated strong account management skills, superior selling competencies, and a proven sales performance track record.

Strong working ability across functions and a can‑do attitude.

Strong selling and promotional skills proven through a performance track record.

Compensation Overview Field – United States: $135,180 – $163,801. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available.
