team as a Material Handler I on the 1st shift. The position is located in El Paso, TX and pays $16.22 per hour, plus potential overtime and incentive program. Core hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. The role requires support of the Switchboard Team in assembly, order picking, shipping, and receiving parts to ensure timely order fulfillment and adherence to Eaton’s quality standards.

What You’ll Do The Material Handler provides shipping and warehousing expertise to support all areas of the Switchboard Team:

Adhere to quality standards and continually seek improvement.

Ensure all products and parts meet Eaton’s quality guidelines during the production process.

Receive and process material kitting orders to execute production schedules.

Complete inventory transactions and ensure accuracy.

Comply with safety and industrial hygiene requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment.

Own and lead 5S processes for assigned warehouse areas.

Receive and process incoming raw materials following inventory procedures.

Prepare finished products for shipment, including packaging, documentation, and loading.

Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (stand‑up and sit‑down), order pickers, pallet wrappers, and pallet jacks.

Recommend Lean improvement initiatives related to quality, work processes, and safety.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of one year of forklift operation experience (sit‑down/stand‑up).

Minimum of six months of experience using an RF scanner.

Applicants must be within a 50‑mile radius of El Paso, TX; military service members are exempt from the geographic limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Two or more years of warehouse experience in an industrial environment.

Two or more years of forklift operation experience.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong verbal and written communication and persuasive skills.

Analytical problem‑solving abilities and teamwork.

Computer literate; familiarity with AS400, VISTA, and MAPICS systems.

Knowledge of Lean and continuous process improvement.

Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds and to squat or reach above the head; reasonable accommodations available.

Physical ability to operate a forklift.
