Hiring for part‑time weekend shifts
Saturdays: 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Pay, Benefits and Perks of Laundry Assistant
Competitive pay based on experience.
Paid Time Off (PTO+) added to your balance after 30 days of employment; accrue additional PTO as you work (full‑time only).

Essential Functions of Laundry Assistant
Loads articles into washer and dryer.
Soaks contaminated articles as per policy.
Sorts dried articles according to identification numbers and type; folds and places items into appropriate bins.
Lubricates machines.
Mends torn articles; sorts and counts articles to verify quantities on laundry lists.
Irons required items.
Mixes dyes and bleaches according to formula; dyes and bleaches specific articles.
Reads and understands equipment operation manuals.
Performs all duties and responsibilities in a manner that optimizes resident safety.
Supports and maintains a culture of safety and quality; assures that sanitation and quality standards are met, including writing and oral instructions.
Deals with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Follows all infection control procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications of Laundry Assistant
High school diploma or general equivalency preferred.
1 year of experience preferred.
Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
Ability to communicate in English in writing and verbally with staff, patient families and customers.
Physical demands described represent those necessary to perform essential functions; reasonable accommodations may be made for disabilities.
Frequent standing and walking for long periods; routine lifting and/or moving of up to 50 lbs.
Ability to utilize a computer, phone, etc. for extended periods.
Occasional exposure to blood or bodily fluids or airborne pathogens and caustic chemicals.
Moderate noise level in work environment.
Organization and management skills.
