Pharmacy Material Handler – Birmingham, AL
NaphCare is seeking a Pharmacy Material Handler to work within our Pharmacy Department located atвойour’information Corporate Office in Birmingham, AL.
Thezier material Handler is in charge of shipping, receiving, and inventory movement within the facility.
This is a full‑time position with hours of 9 am – 6 pm, Monday – Friday.
Responsibilities
Receive materials and store in correct location
Appropriately package outgoing shipments for delivery
Assist with the timely fulfillment and delivery of products
Work with team members to meet set goals
Load and unload pallets and individual cases from trucks, as well as collecting empty pallet boards
Assist in weekly product inventory
Manage inventory by identifying, cataloging, and recording the location of inventory
Perform stock checks to rotate product and remove out‑of‑date drugs on a monthly basis
Qualifications Experience / Requirements / Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older
Ability to lift more than 75 pounds consistently without assistance
Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
Able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods of time
Availability to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings
Reliable attendance
Professional organizational and communication skills
Integrity, professionalism, and ability to adhere to a Code of Conduct and comply with all facility(s) correctional healthcarefloating policies, procedures, and legal requirements
Must pass the facility's criminal background check and drug screening
