Maintenance Technician (West)
Job Description Summary Responsible to assist with the operation, troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs on commercial buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, grounds, and maintenance equipment for assigned properties/facilities.

Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems, including packaging machinery, plumbing, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop and grounds equipment, and HVAC.
Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices.
Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wall paper, paint walls, piping, floors, and equipment.
Troubleshoot, evaluate, and recommend upgrades to maintenance operations and implement savings opportunities.
Demonstrate competent knowledge of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance.
Respond immediately to emergency situations and customer service requests.
Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions and perform preventative maintenance.
Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems (fire alarm, fire pumps, and related equipment).
Perform carpentry and snow removal when necessary.
Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and Company directives related to building operations and safe work habits.
Use technology such as smartphones, tablets, computers, web-based applications, and building automation systems.
Complete all required C&W Safety Training annually.
Follow the C&W Uniform Dress Code and maintain a neat and clean appearance during working hours.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Experience and Qualifications
2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
Technical, vocational, or on‑the‑job training in at least one area: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair.
Valid driver’s license (commercial license may be required) and good driving record.
Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Ability to work extended shifts, overtime, shift work, and on‑call duties as required.
Work Environment and Physical Demands This role operates in a professional office environment with standard office equipment. Physical demands include communication, computer use, and occasional manual handling of maintenance tasks.
Compensation Hourly rate: $23.80 - $28.00.
