Job Description Summary Sunbelt’s E&D Safety Technician is empowered to oversee safety aspects on job sites so our team can safely deliver solutions for our customers. The Safety Technician coordinates Safety, Health, and Environmental activities on individual projects or worksites. The Safety Technician directly reports to the Construction Manager and has a dotted line to the Regional Safety Manager.
Qualifications Education or experience that prepares you for success:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of experience in E&D projects or approved equivalent experience
Construction and safety experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities you may rely on:
CPR/First Aid Training
OSHA 30 Hour Outreach training or equivalent
Scaffold industry experience
Physical Demands The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 25 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job. Base Pay Range: $22.85 - $31.41 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
