The Respiratory Therapist provides services to patients in the NICU/PICU as prescribed by Physicians/NNPs in conjunction with established policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines. She/He is responsible for assessing the patient's respiratory status and recommending appropriate therapies. She/He implements therapies and evaluates patient response to therapeutic interventions. The Respiratory Therapist accepts and promotes professional development as an integral part of practice. She/He will assess, analyze, customize, coordinate and communicate the patient's plan of care and actively collaborate with other members of the health care team.

Respiratory Care Practitioner Location:

Anchorage, AK

Schedule:

Part‑time, 0.75 FTE, 10‑hr day shifts, 30 hours per week.

Hiring Bonus:

$5,000 for eligible external hires meeting required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Required Qualifications

National Registered Respiratory Therapist - National Board for Respiratory Care

National Certified Respiratory Therapist - National Board for Respiratory Care

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Within 90 days of hire National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association

5 years experience in pediatrics respiratory therapy

Preferred Qualifications

Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care
