Responsibilities
Under direct supervision of the Produce Manager, the Produce Clerk provides customer service.
Assist customers, clean, fill, and rotate the perishable (produce) displays.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, stand, and stoop for prolonged periods.
Carrying out physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling.
Essential functions include visual and auditory requirements and maintaining a fast‑paced grocery store environment.
Qualifications
Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
Write simple correspondence.
Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
Apply common sense to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 lbs.
Additional Skills (Nice to Have)
Basic PC/Outlook skills.
Retail Management Certificate.
