Department Description Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is a nationally recognized and award-winning public healthcare system. As a leader in behavioral health, CHA's psychiatry teams provide compassionate care to our diverse patient population. CHA consists of an established network of ambulatory clinics, an urgent care site, and two full‑service hospitals based in Cambridge‑Somerville, and Boston's metro‑north communities.
Summary We are seeking a licensed Clinical Social Worker to join Child and Adolescent Outpatient Neurodevelopmental Service, which is a multi-disciplinary team providing assessment and treatment for conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Delay and ADHD. This role includes case management, evidence‑based short‑term therapy, running groups, and community liaison within our collaborative team model. As a teaching hospital, members of our clinical teams will have an opportunity to teach and supervise trainees and participate in developing best models of care to treat our patient population. Portuguese, Spanish, or Haitian Kreyol linguistic skill would be a plus.
Qualifications
Current MA licensure as an Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and interest in working with children and youth with neurodevelopmental disorders.
vibrant education/training: Masters degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling.
A minimum of 1 year post‑degree experience, or equivalent, in a fast‑paced clinical environment; along with basic computer skills in electronic or online systems for communication, clinical, and administrative tasks.
Clinical experience working with children and families and familiarity with child systems.
