Full time (40 hours/week), 4x10 hour shift – Friday–Monday 9 pm–7:30 am. There will be a rotation for call and holiday hours. Enjoy an 18% night shift differential and a flat $3/hour weekend shift differential when applicable.

Position Summary This position performs specialized radiographic procedures in an operative setting, following department/facility policies and protocols in accordance with ARRT and MRTBE, and ensuring optimal care for all patient populations.

In‑situ training, minimal direction, adherence to ALARA guidelines, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams are required.

Core Functions

Prepares for surgical procedures by setting up the imaging cart, checking laterality, uploading patient information, ensuring equipment function, and communicating with the OR team.

Educates patients/families regarding procedure, fosters teamwork and efficient resource use.

Performs prescribed radiographic procedures using ARRT guidelines and state licensing agencies.

Uses specialty equipment such as Hybrid OR, O‑Arm, C‑Arms, Mini C‑Arms, flat plates, and performs imaging for various studies.

Produces high‑quality images, prepares documentation, and presents findings for timely interpretation.

Evaluates equipment quality‑control measurements, troubleshoots issues, and communicates with surgical team as needed.

Maintains a safe environment, adheres to radiation safety policies, and educates physicians and students on dosimetry.

Upholds ethical, legal, and professional responsibilities, maintaining confidentiality.

Facilitates educational and onboarding support for new intra‑operative technologists.

Minimum Qualifications Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program. National certification by ARRT and state licensure if applicable. BLS certification required. Two years of related clinical experience. Effective communication skills, human relations, analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications Additional related education and/or experience.
