DESCRIPTION OF WORK gampang As part of the maintenance team, you will perform a wide variety of maintenance and repair tasks across multiple trades, with a primary emphasis on plumbing operations to ensure the facility remains safe and fully functional. Duties will include completing preventive maintenance activities such as visual inspections, lubrication, minor adjustments, component replacement, and cleaning of pumps, controls, air compressors, lavatories, commodes, traps, and temperature regulators. You will be responsible for all aspects of plumbing work, including the repair, replacement, modification, and installation of hospital water, waste, storm, and compressed air utility systems, as well as steam, hot water, forced air, and ventilation systems. The position also requires safe and effective use of hand and power tools for cutting, drilling, and threading pipe and other materials, along with performing sewer cleaning using approved techniques. Additionally, you will support maintenance and repair efforts in other trades such as carpentry, electrical work, and painting, while consistently following established safety rules, bụla procedures, and bestKet practices.

WORK SCHEDULE AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Full‑time employment, 37.5 hours per week
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with a 30‑minute lunch
Overtime may be required and subject to emergency call‑ins
Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non‑negotiable

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades
Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT
You must possess a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
LEGAL REQUIREMENTS
A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination
This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act
Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to PA State Police умум FBI clearance
