Responsibilities Under direct supervision, the Seafood Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service. Responsibilities include:
Assist customers, set up, maintain, and clean seafood display cases.
Clean, fill, and rotate seafood displays.
Maintain proper stock and inventory accuracy.
Adhere to safety, health, and sanitation requirements.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stand, and stoop for prolonged periods. The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store and requires lifting, standing, walking, kneeling, visual, and auditory skills.
Qualifications
Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
Write simple correspondence.
Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs., frequently up to 45 lbs., and occasionally up to 60 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
Basic PC/Outlook skills.
Retail Management Certificate.
