The primary purpose of the Licensed Practical Nurse’s role is to provide direct nursing care to the residents and to supervise the day‑to‑day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Such supervision must comply with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility, and as required by the Director of Nursing Services or Nurse Supervisor to maintain the highest quality of care at all times. The role involves passing medication, completing assessments and treatments, documenting these services, and occasionally assisting with activities of daily living or nursing assistants.
Qualifications:
Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of North Carolina (NC) or a compact license that allows practice in NC.
Long‑term care experience.
Positive attitude and bedside manner.
A love for working with people.
