Shipping & Receiving Associate - Afternoon Shift

We are seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our afternoon shift team, 3PM-11PM. In this role, you'll play a critical part in keeping materials moving efficiently through our facility by coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting smooth production flow.

Key Responsibilities
Schedule and communicate with carriers for inbound and outbound freight
Receive, unload, and accurately store materials into inventory
Stage materials and machines for workinprocess and ensure accurate system transactions
Prepare outbound shipments and load trucks to meet delivery schedules
Generate and process shipping and receiving paperwork, including bills of lading and export documentation
Ensure proper receipt of coils and materials into the computer system
Coordinate shipping and receiving activities with internal departments
Issue tools and production components and maintain required logbooks
Train and support other Shipping & Receiving team members
Follow all safety procedures and standards
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
Experience with inventory control and material handling preferred
Forklift and Overhead Crane experience required (certification a plus)
Working knowledge of PC applications and Windows operating systems (Oracle experience helpful but trainable)
Familiarity with shipping documentation and system transactions
Ability to collaborate across departments such as production, purchasing, and maintenance
Strong organization, time management, and communication skills
Must pass pre‑employment drug test and background check.
Dependable transportation to the facility door entrance is required. Public transportation and/or walking are not options due to safety regulations.
