Your office, Wichita Endodontics - East, is seeking a Patient Scheduler to join our busy specialty practice. The role focuses on delivering exceptional patient and referral office phone support and coordinating appointments in our clinic.
Your Responsibilities
Provide high-level customer service to patients and referral offices via phone.
Utilize a multi‑line phone queue system to assist callers efficiently.
Direct callers to the appropriate department if they do not call to schedule an appointment.
Assess, document, and delegate patients to RN using clinical messaging for post‑surgical questions and concerns.
Accurately schedule patients for consultation and surgical procedures in the patient EMR system following policies and protocols.
Obtain appropriate insurance information and complete the insurance verification form accurately.
Educate patients on in‑network insurance policies and out‑of‑network procedures.
Contact patients to reschedule appointments due to schedule changes.
Perform additional duties such as patient registration queue, EMR data entry/scanning, referral office requests, and chart preparation.
Comply with all HIPAA regulations at all times.
Model the Practice’s values and inspire others.
Schedule Monday–Thursday 7:40 am – 4:30 pm Friday 6:40 am – 12:00 pm
Your Background
1–2 years of experience in a dental office, preferably as a patient scheduler or coordinator.
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with patients and the dental team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in dental software and basic computer skills.
Understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes.
Empathetic, patient‑centered approach to customer service.
A high school diploma.

Position Base Pay Range: $15.50 USD – $19.75 USD per hour
