CDL Truck Driver Commercial – PTO, Benefits Day 1, Home Daily
Pay Range: $24.00/hr
Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:15 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Job Summary Safely operates a heavy‑duty truck on assigned transfer routes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate vehicle in accordance with OSHA, DOT, and all local, state, and federal requirements; maintain a clean and safe vehicle.
Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using the standard DVIR; document issues for corrective action.
Immediately report unsafe situations or service calls to Operations Manager or Dispatch.
Participate in scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required.
Collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiencies and address safety issues.
Assist other company drivers as directed and perform all duties as scheduled.
Notify Management of incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage.
Report issues such as blocked containers or potential missed pickups via Service Machine protocol.
Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Management.
Properly dump all containers, leaving customer locations clean and debris free.
Complete and submit customer tickets when excess yardage must be removed.
Position containers on customers’ property to ensure lids are replaced and containers are upright, avoiding driveway or traffic obstructions.
Follow route assignments and complete all required documentation at the end of the route.
Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory duties.
Qualifications
Education and Experience : No prior experience or specific education required.
License : Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B.
Minimum age 18–19 years.
Successful completion of pre‑employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check (including prior employment and motor‑vehicle record review).
Acceptable driving record.
