Escrow Officer (or Senior Escrow Assistant) Granbury, Texas
Escrow Officer with or without a book of business - or a Senior Escrow Assistant that has front to back experience and ready for next step.
Key Responsibilities
Transaction Management : Open and close escrow, manage the entire process from contract to closing.
Document Handling : Prepare, review, and obtain signatures on closing documents (deeds, statements, instructions, loan docs).
Financial Management : Deposit earnest money, verify all funds received, and disburse payments for payoffs, liens, and closing costs.
Title & Compliance : Perform title searches, clear title issues, and ensure adherence to lender and legal requirements (RESPA, FHA).
Communication : Act as a liaison, communicating with clients, agents, lenders, and title companies.
Coordination : Schedule closings, obtain insurance evidence, and coordinate signing appointments.
Essential Skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Knowledge of real estate laws, regulations, and industry software.
