We are looking for a Material Specialist to join our Rhinelander, WI Team! The Material Specialist is responsible for executing all shipping and receiving operations independently while ensuring workplace safety. This role also provides training and daily guidance to team members, helping service the department meet goals for safety, quality, schedule and cost while demonstrating the ability to meet quality routed hours.
MAJOR DUTIES дом
Operate forklifts, cranes, and rigging equipment safely
Move materials between internal and external operations
Kit jobs per instructions and perform accurate inventory transactions
Package outgoing shipments and ensure material preservation/identification
Load and unload delivery trucks efficiently
Generate and process paperwork for shipments
Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders
Mentor and assist entry-level personnel in shipping_tw receivement
Reconcile and correct inventory counts in ERP systems
Troubleshoot issues and schedule shipments with carriers
Perform other duties as assigned
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Basic understanding of supply chain processes
Ability to read blueprints, apply math, and use measuring devices
Proficiency with computers, Windows navigation, and Microsoft Office
Experience with ERP systems
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs.
Long periods of standing, bending, and crouching
Use of ladders to reach shelves and trays
Perform duties outside for long periods of time
