Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Pediatrics (24 hrs./wk. Part‑Time Benefits) Rotating Shift – Dearborn

General Summary Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates with the healthcare team and demonstrates clinical competence.

Hours Rotating days and weekends. Scheduled hours will be any hours between:
8 AM – 8 PM (Monday & Tuesday)
7:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Wednesday – Friday)
7:30 – 12:30 PM (Saturdays Rotate)
Education and Experience
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Successfully completed Henry Ford Ambulatory orientation.
Minimum of 1+ years as a Registered Nurse.
Maintains and demonstrates current clinical knowledge in area of specialty.
Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and medical group personnel. Preferred experience in the specialty.
Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
Certifications / Licensure
Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
Current BLS or ACLS per Henry Ford Health policy.
Certification required when it is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard, e.g., Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN).
