Key Responsibilities
Read work orders to determine specifications and efficiently follow production workflow to produce a high volume of work.
Gain knowledge of product materials and respective requirements to produce optimal quality projects.
Operate finishing equipment, including cutters and bindery guns.
Meet or exceed daily production goals, ensuring all work meets job ticket and customer expectations.
Approach tasks with a quality mindset and adhere to a defined maximum scrap rate.
Partner with Production Lead(s) for timely processing and be flexible to perform other duties as assigned.
Maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Record any quality or scrap issues and notify management of any safety concerns.
Perform all assigned work effectively and on schedule.
Team player who takes initiative on other duties as requested.
First 30 Days
Read work orders and follow workflow.
Gain knowledge of materials.
Operate equipment.
Meet production goals.
Adopt quality mindset.
Collaborate with Production Lead.
First 60 Days
Assemble up to 300 mats per day accurately.
Become familiar with library and scheduling.
First 90 Days
Assemble 350–500 mats per day with minimal supervision.
Understand coding system.
Restock supplies.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Basic math skills and computer literacy.
Previous success in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated success in going above and beyond to help team achieve a goal.
Strong attendance and punctuality record.
Proficient reading a ruler.
Physical Activities
Lifting, carrying, grasping, reaching, standing, kneeling, walking, bending, twisting.
Reading, communication, simple math.
Regularly lift or move up to 50 lbs.
Climb stairs.
Work environment noise typically moderate to above moderate.
