Location: On‑Site at Urenco, Eunice, NM Work Schedule: 9/80 professional work schedule Travel Required: 10% of the time or less as required Per Diem Is Available For Those Who Qualify

Urenco USA is a uranium enrichment facility located east of Eunice, NM, and has been in operation since 2010. Urenco provides enriched uranium to the commercial nuclear power sector.

Summary of Responsibilities This position is responsible for developing, scheduling, coordinating and delivering training activities/programs by providing training oversight/assessment and technical guidance to improve performance and meet regulatory requirements of assigned functional areas.

Primary Functions

Responsible for the design, development and delivery of training and qualification material using the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT).

Responsible for the creation of training material in multiple delivery methods (e.g., classroom, Web-based and computer based).

Responsible for the identification of evaluation methods and tools for measuring results.

Observe, evaluate and record training activities.

Work with applicable Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) during development of training material to ensure technical accuracy. Perform needs analyses as needed to determine training gaps, frequency adjustments, etc.

Assist in the training and development of training instructors within the department, site‑wide and globally as assigned.

Ensure training courses are instructionally sound and adhere to quality standards.

Developing and maintaining training programs and procedures.

Participate in developmental opportunities to continually improve job performance and skills.

Conduct periodic comprehensive training program content and process assessments and audits.

Participate in industry benchmarking, peer self‑assessments and industry working groups providing process improvement recommendations based on lessons learned.

Use and maintain the Learning Management System.

Assist with On‑The‑Job (OJT)/Technical Performance Evaluation (TPE) activities for qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering, Education/Training, or a related technical field

3+ years of nuclear training experience and/or prior experience in performance of basic operations in assigned functional area (i.e. engineering, maintenance, operations, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering or Education/Training or related technical field and a Master’s degree or Professional Training Certification.

Prior nuclear training experience and 7+ years in a technical background

Relevant work experience of at least five years, in addition to the minimum experience requirements specified, may be substituted for educational Bachelor’s degree requirement.

Other Job Requirements \> United States Citizenship

Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Security Clearance, if required, and CAA Access
