We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Designer Supervisor with a strong background in modular cabinetry design and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will oversee a team of technical designers, ensuring accurate, innovative, and efficient design solutions that meet customer specifications, manufacturing capabilities, and industry standards.

This role requires a solid understanding of cabinetry systems, construction methods, CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Cabinet Vision), and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities Supervision & Leadership Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of technical designers. Assign work, review outputs, and ensure design standards and timelines are met. Foster a collaborative and high-performance design team culture.

Technical Design & Review Oversee the creation of technical drawings and production documents for modular cabinet systems. Ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and meet both customer and code requirements. Review and approve final drawings, cut lists, and specifications before release to production.

Process & Standards Management Develop, maintain, and improve design standards, templates, and workflows. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams to ensure alignment on product specs and production capabilities. Lead the implementation of design automation tools or processes where applicable.

Project Coordination Coordinate with project managers, architects, and customers to clarify design requirements. Support quoting, prototyping, and new product development efforts. Track project timelines and deliverables, adjusting resources as needed.

Qualifications Degree or diploma in Industrial Design, Drafting, Engineering, or related field 3–5 years of experience in cabinetry design, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role Experience with modular cabinet systems in residential, commercial, or institutional sectors Proficient in AUTOCAD, SketchUp, V‑Ray, and other relevant design software
