Job Description
AAMCI is excited to hire an energetic individual with Section 8 experience to join our team as a Part-Time Assistant Manager at a 96-unit multi-family property.
Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8am to 3:30pm, $20 per hour
The community is an affordable housing community with rent subsidy, providing housing to income-qualified residents. In this position, AAMCI expects strong customer service, safety management, skill set development and time management with the goal to create a home and strong communities for each of our residents to thrive.
AAMCI provides many training opportunities, and many paid opportunities to obtain higher levels of certificates.
Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing and uploading documents
Greet residents and visitors
Filing
Answer and direct phone calls
Enter work orders
Interview residential applicants
Maintain the wait list per regulatory requirements for community manager review
Obtain third-party verifications
Prepares leases for community manager review
Coordinate move-in dates and prepare all move-in paperwork
Complete annual and interim recertification of current residents
Assist in the collection and daily deposits of all resident payments
Perform eviction filings
Assist in inspections of occupied units
Plan resident events
Resolve resident issues
Perform related duties as assigned by the community manager
Qualifications necessary for success:
Computer Software Knowledge – Microsoft Outlook, Word and Yardi/Onesite
Excellent communication skills – Written and Verbal
Ability to prioritize tasks
Experience in affordable housing
