Overview
GFO Home is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Lot Acquisition Consultant to spearhead our land pipeline growth across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. This role is designed for a high-level networker and analyst who understands the DFW residential landscape and can secure finished lots that align with GFO Home’s premium product and market positioning.
Responsibilities
Proactively identify and source finished lot opportunities through a deep network of developers, brokers, and off‑market contacts across the DFW Metroplex
Evaluate potential deals to ensure they match GFO Home’s specific product types, price points, and brand standards
Perform rigorous due diligence on prospective deals, analyzing project margins, market demand, and fit within our current business model
Lead the negotiation process to secure favorable terms and lock in lot supply contracts
Maintain a consistent flow of deals to ensure a robust multi‑year inventory of buildable lots
Requirements
Proven track record and existing relationships within the Dallas-Fort Worth real estate development community
Minimum of 3–5 years in land acquisition, residential development, or real estate brokerage – prefer previous experience with land acquisition for homebuilding
Ability to quickly assess the viability of a deal using market data and internal financial benchmarks
A self‑starter who thrives on a performance‑based structure and possesses the tenacity to close difficult deals
Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills
Compensation & Benefits This position is full-time but structured as a commission‑based role. The following compensation and incentives are included:
Semi‑Monthly Draw: $5,000 ($10,000/month total)
