Job Summary Lamplight Farms Inc. a division of the W.C. Bradley Company is looking for a Cost Accountant to join our team. This role will be responsible for production variance analysis, month end processes and forecasting, and have the opportunity to assist with special projects as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities

Research monthly manufacturing and inventory variances, providing root cause analysis for discrepancies

Create and maintain reporting for inventory and absorption for month end, forecast and budget

Engage with purchasing and production teams to review manufacturing variances to determine if standard cost changes are needed

Review Tariff and Freight variances and provide recommendations for possible standard cost changes needed

Assist in the monthly hedge accounting entries and review

Create journal entries and provideannet analysis for month-end closing process as needed

Maintain month end reconciliations as needed

Cross department collaboration on new item set ups

Yearly standard cost update in SAP and as needed throughout year

Assist in the creation and management of annual budget for assigned areas

Assist in year-end audit as needed

Other décision as deemed necessary

Qualification Requirements Minimum Education:

BS Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.

Minimum Work Experience:

Minimum 2 to 5 years' experience in Cost Accounting and/or experience in accounting functions.

License(s) / Certification(s):

CPA preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Must possess PC spreadsheet and word processing skills.

Must have good analytical skills and be detailed oriented.

Must have good organizational skills and be able to communicate with individuals throughout all levels of the organization.
