Job Summary MOR PPM Inc. seeks a pipefitter for a full‑time maintenance job in Decatur, IL. Experience with layout, fabrication, installation, maintenance & repair of piping systems, structural steel, vessels, pumps & equipment in an industrial environment is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Layout, fit, and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms in a steam boiler environment.

Use hand‑welding or flame‑cutting equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products.

Must be experienced in stainless steel and carbon steel.

Must be experienced in taking your own measurements and use power tools.

Qualifications

At least three years pipefitter experience in an industrial construction setting.

Committed to safety at all times.

Excellent attendance.

Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen.

Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements

Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign.

May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Must possess enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above.

Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas.

Must have full range of motion consistent with age.

Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders.

Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job‑related noises.

Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces.

Safety/steel‑toe shoes are required.
