Role Overview Davies is seeking a detail‑oriented
Accounting Coordinator
to support our Accounting Department in the Maitland, Florida office. This full‑time, in‑office position requires residency within the local geographical area. The role provides essential clerical and accounting support, ensuring accurate financial processing, reporting, and compliance with client and internal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain the provider database
Sort, review, and process all outgoing claim checks daily in accordance with customer‑specific procedures
Handle voids, transfers, and refunds related to claim checks across all customer accounts
Perform daily positive pay reviews and manage exception handling for customer bank accounts
Manage all aspects of client bank account funding, including fund reviews, funding requests, and tracking
Complete monthly bank reconciliations for 40+ customer accounts with accuracy and timeliness
Develop, update, and maintain Excel spreadsheets related to accounting functions and reporting
Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to check activity and other accounting requirements based on customer specifications
Support and demonstrate company values
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
High School diploma or equivalent required
Accounting and/or bookkeeping experience preferred
Strong general office and administrative skills
Proficiency with computers and accounting‑related software
10‑key by touch proficiency and typing speed of 35+ WPM
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and prioritization abilities
High attention to detail with strong problem‑solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Demonstrated discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
