Job Summary
WebstaurantStore is hiring for Weekend Shift Distribution Associates at $25/hr. We offer career growth opportunities, great pay, benefits, and a fun environment. Because of rapid growth, we’re looking for energetic, highly motivated material handlers and forklift operators at our Dayton, NV warehouses. On‑site training is provided for all positions. We are staffing all departments for the weekend shift, which includes the following roles:
Inbound Material Handlers
Inbound Forklift Operators
Outbound Material Handlers
Outbound Forklift Operators
Responsibilities Inbound
Use correct machinery to pull pallets from overstock to replenish primary bins.
Pull and transport warehouse stock to fulfill orders quickly and accurately.
Confirm items, count, and bins while reporting any issues to mobile form.
Complete assigned projects such as minimums and cycles during slow periods.
Put Away
Create an effective driving route to put away all products and quantities in the correct location using forklift equipment and company systems.
Receive and stock inventory throughout the warehouse to fulfill orders with speed and accuracy.
Check In
Separate returns from vendor orders.
Accurately check in order items using IDS and SPS systems.
Document all discrepancies and maintain the error log.
Ensure all products are received and stocked with a high level of inventory accuracy and quality.
Container Unloading
Unload containers in a timely manner within required limitations.
Confirm item numbers and order quantities with detail.
IC & QA
Conduct daily cycle counts to verify inventory counts and system data points.
Manage items in overstock bins to ensure accurate accounting.
Investigate discrepancies from cycle counts and adjust inventory in company systems.
Complete periodic tasks including internal transfers, coordinate serial numbers, and generate reports.
Outbound
Order Picker
Drive an order picker to assigned bins, identifying items and quantities for all orders.
Walk to assigned bins, identifying items and quantities for all orders.
Ensure orders are picked properly and timely with strong attention to detail.
Use a scanner to verify and identify products, then load them onto a conveyor belt.
Consolidator
Use scanners to verify received items and align them with corresponding orders.
Accurately identify orders to ensure customers receive complete orders quickly.
Organize and consolidate products into totes, placing them into put‑wall cubbies for packing.
Order Packer
Use a scanner & SPS system to verify products and pack orders timely and accurately.
Identify correct box size, downsize packaging to minimize shipping costs without compromising quality.
Enter shipping information into the SPS system.
Bill and ship orders using warehouse systems (computer software, SPS, scanners, conveyor, CVP).
Place completed packages on the packing belt and/or palletize finished shipments for truck loading.
Truck Loader
Accurately identify carrier based on package label.
Move palletized product to proper loaded trucks if needed.
Efficiently stack packages into the correct trailer in an interlocking pattern.
Lock out incoming trailers and unlock outgoing trailers.
FastTrack Bundler
Ensure fast‑track orders are accurately and efficiently taped and bundled.
Ship completed orders using the conveyor belt system. Use a manual pallet jack to move palletized cases to secure areas when needed.
Match correct product quantities for each order to ensure accuracy.
Shift Schedule
Friday – Monday, 7:00am – 5:30pm
Wage
Starting wage is $25/hr, with the potential raise every 6 months of up to $0.88.
Work Environment
Employees regularly work around moving mechanical parts and vehicles. Conditions may involve temperature and humidity changes, dust, fumes, and gases. Noise level is usually moderate, with normal employee passage.
Physical Requirements
Work performed while standing and/or walking, up to 12 hours/day.
Requires effective communication using speech, vision, and hearing.
Requires regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
Requires the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights up to 75 lbs.
Experience
1 year of relevant experience in a distribution environment; receiving/inventory experience preferred.
Education
