Job Description

The Sr. Accounting Analyst is a proactive leader in finance operations who designs, enhances, and champions efficient, data‑driven processes across the department.

This role leads the development and adoption of tools and automation solutions, identifies opportunities for continuous improvement, and ensures reporting and analytics are timely, accurate and insightful. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Lead the development and ownership of reporting tools derived from ERP system data to drive insight, action and accountability across the department. Independently identify, design and implement process improvements and automation tools that enhance operational efficiency, reduce exceptions and streamline workflows. Develop and deliver training, tools and documentation to equip team members with the knowledge and resources needed to resolve issues effectively and consistently. Act as a subject‑matter expert and advisor on ERP systems and financial process improvements; monitor system performance and lead enhancements to optimize business outcomes. Collaborate cross‑functionally to solve business challenges and ensure alignment between system capabilities and business needs, promoting best practices and ERP functionality across teams. Conduct audits and reviews to validate payment accuracy and process compliance, taking ownership of timely issue resolution and improvement recommendations. Own the department’s reporting cadence, ensuring leadership has the visibility needed through timely standard and ad‑hoc reports and dashboards. Support strategic initiatives and special projects, applying analytical thinking and leadership to deliver impactful results. Collaborate closely with onsite teams and participate in onsite meetings to drive departmental objectives. Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in a business‑related or technical field, or equivalent professional experience. Experience: 5+ years of experience in an analytical role within accounting or financial operations (A/P, A/R, G/L).

Strong preference for experience in process improvement initiatives, automation projects, and ERP system usage and optimization. Equipment/Software Skills

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new system applications. Experience working with databases and exporting data to Excel. Competencies

Typical activities may include prolonged periods of sitting or standing, using a computer, and occasional movement within the workplace. May require lifting or moving items up to 25 pounds. Sensory Requirements
