Position Summary Seasonal position focused on preparing and cooking a variety of food for the cafe, including breakfast and lunch. This role requires working in a fast-paced environment and involves a strong emphasis on quality, freshness, and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Intermediate ski or snowboard experience is preferred due to back side location.

Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities

Execute all food preparation tasks, in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.

Efficiently cook and assemble a variety of menu items-including breakfast and lunch.

Cleaning grill, broiler and hood system nightly,

Cleaning fryer and roaster when necessary,

Maintain all product coolers

Operate all kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and cleaning procedures.

Secondary Responsibilities

Assist with general kitchen duties, which may include dishwashing, receive deliveries, and maintaining shared kitchen areas.

Assist with general Outback Inn tasks; cleaning restrooms, stacking wood and garbage pick up.

Shovel snow

Other duties as assigned

Specific Job Skills

License/Certifications - Idaho Food Safety Certification (training provided)

Technical - Cooking Skills/Basic kitchen skills. Able to ski or snowboard at an intermediate level.

Physical Capabilities - Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift. Will lift up to 25lbs frequently, up to 50lbs occasionally.

Additional - Exposed to fumes, odors, mechanical and burn hazards.

Education/Related Experience Minimum education required - English reading, writing and communication, basic math

Minimum time in related position - 6 months. Line Cook experience preferred
