This is a Full Time, Day shift position in Suffolk, VA.Sign on Bonus up to $15,000 available for qualified candidates! Hours: 7a-7p with rotating weekend schedule.The Stroke/Telemetry Unit at Sentara Obici Hospital provides care for patients with cardiac conditions including heart failure, cardiac rhythm disturbances, newly implanted permanent pacemakers and defibrillators, post- coronary interventions, post-ablation, myocardial infarctions. 2 South also cares for pre/post catheterization, acute stroke, and post procedural neuro cases. This 25-bed unit sees a ratio of 1:5 with mixed patient acuity levels. Patient Care Techs assist with a ratio of 1:8 on average. This is a well-supported team, great for both new grad and experienced Registered Nurses seeking to advance their skills in cardiac areas.
