Pool Beverage Server – The Strat (Las Vegas, NV)
Job Description: Provides timely beverage and food service in a friendly and courteous manner at the assigned areas, including poolside and cabanas. Keeps assigned areas clean and empty of glasses, cups, bottles, and dishes, and constantly looks for service opportunities while following all Stratosphere safety and operating procedures.
Responsibilities
Present menus, suggest cocktails, cold beer, non-alcoholic beverages, appetizers, and specials; serve food and beverages efficiently and in a timely manner.
Greet guests and provide excellent service throughout their visit to ensure all guests' needs are met.
Total the bill, check bills for accuracy, and obtain payment from the guest.
Set up, maintain, and close work stations efficiently, cleanly, and timely.
Assist in setting up tables, booths, and/or cabanas, including tableware and condiments.
Ensures tables, cabanas, and poolside areas are kept clean and cleared of all unnecessary items.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Beverage and food service knowledge.
Previous experience as a pool beverage and food server preferred.
Ability to use the Infogenesis computer system.
Excellent guest service skills.
Comfortable serving in designated uniform.
At least 21 years of age.
Ability to effectively communicate English, both verbal and written.
High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.

Regularly walk, stand or stoop.
Frequently lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.

Work outside with temperatures that may reach and/or exceed 120 degrees.
Vision, speech, hearing (critical).
