Overview
Graybar is hiring a Delivery Driver with a CDL Class A license to safely operate trucks or vans on local routes, delivering products to customers and providing excellent service.
Responsibilities
Determine best routes for delivery to meet customer expectations.
Deliver products while maintaining customer service excellence.
Load and unload trucks using warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Inspect vehicle and supplies before and after each shift.
Operate vehicle safely at all times.
Maintain proper truck logs.
Work a local route with no overnight or weekend travel.
Avoid text‑driving and maintain safe driving practices.
Qualifications
Class A CDL license.
Valid driver’s license, DOT medical exam, and Commercial Motor Vehicle Certification.
1+ years driving a truck or trailer over 33,000 G.V.W. or experience with self‑unloading equipment.
Physical ability to perform warehouse tasks and pass pre‑employment physical.
Customer service skills.
Proper use of PPE and warehouse equipment.
Must have steel‑toed boots.
Work Shift & Hours Monday – Friday, 4:00 am – 1:00 pm.
Compensation Starting at $28.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
