58 Hester Coffee is a coffee catering company that specializes in mobile espresso catering for businesses, universities, private events, brand activations, music festivals, weddings, hotels, conferences, and more.
We aim to deliver the specialty coffee experience to every event. There are no automated machines with buttons here – you’ll be grinding, tamping, and hand‑pulling espresso shots. Specialty coffee experience is a must, and latte art is a huge plus! We’ll serve anywhere within five hours of Indio, CA, which means every shift is a nice mix of driving, cart setup, and beverage service.
All of our events are fully paid for by the client, so our baristas don’t have to deal with any cash register or Point of Sale system. Baristas give out "free" drinks to all event attendees.
Past clients include: College of the Desert, Terrakotta, Cie, VMT, Jackson & Lewis, Levi's, Lamborghini, La Sierra University, Everfree and more.
Minimum Qualifications
Must have a reliable vehicle (most medium passenger work).
Must be able to lift 60 pounds (weight of our espresso machine).
Two years barista experience.
Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Punctual, reliable, friendly, professional, personable.
Good driving record.
Responsibilities
A few days prior to the event, the barista receives an email containing all the relevant event info, including a full timeline.
Arrive at our headquarters on time and begin loading up all the equipment for the event.
Drive to the event address and call the site contact person who will show them where to park/unload, and set up the cart for service.
Unload all equipment and set up the cart for service.
Serve guests for the allotted amount of time (usually 2 hours but depends on event).
Pack up all equipment and drive back to our headquarters.
Unload equipment, clean dishes, and restock carts.
Job Types: On‑Call/Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
